Joe Posnanski » Lima’s Time
Nice article from Joe Posnanski about Jose Lima. He was a fun guy and Joe does his best to highlight that fact.

Your clothing should have no holes that were not purposefully put
there by the manufacturer. If you have a t-shirt that you just love
that has one tiny hole in it that you can barely see, it’s time to say
goodbye. We’ll notice it. If you have holes in your socks, throw
them out and buy new socks. If you have holes in your underwear,
throw them out and buy new ones. Do you see the theme? NO HOLES

Your clean clothes should be on hangers and or folded and put in a
drawer. They should not be hanging out in a laundry basket, on your
floor or tossed on some random surface in your room.

Hats should be removed when indoors. Your baseball caps need to be
washed every few months. Sweat rings, dirt and general funk do not
add to a hat’s appeal.
Men: Grooming
Buy conditioner and use it at least once a week. Women will enjoy
touching your hair.

Suave and White Rain are not appropriate shampoos, no matter what the
commercials are trying to tell you. Good shampoo will cost more than
$3.99 a bottle.

If you are going to have long hair, take care of it. This means you
need to wash your hair regularly and use conditioner.

Cut your hair every 4 to 6 weeks. If you’ll recall, Fred got all the play and not Shaggy.

Your dirty clothes should be in your hamper. If you don’t have a
hamper, buy one and start using it.
